Dance Camera West Call for Submissions!

We are excited to celebrate Dance Camera West's 11th Annual Festival with Dance Media: An Active Spectrum, an international dance media festival and conference bringing together artists, innovators, educators, and the entertainment industry to discuss the increasingly active spectrum of dance media on screen.Dance Camera West is now accepting submissions for its 11th annual film festival to be held in Los Angeles at the end of June.
Entry Fee:
$50 fee; $40 Members before December 15, 2011
$60 fee; $50 Members after December 15, 2011
$25 fee, Students
To be considered for the festival, the following are required:
Completed DCW entry form
Entry fee (see deadlines)
DVD â€" please no online preview requests
FESTIVAL ENTRY REGULATIONS
Entries must be on DVD. Festival screening formats vary depending on venue and will be emailed upon acceptance. Formats range from Digibeta, Beta, DVCam (PAL and NTSC), 16mm, 35mm, HDCam, HDCamSR.
DVD should be postmarked by January 30, 2012 and sent with DCW entry form and entry fee.
If paying by credit card through the DCW site, please include Order ID# and date of payment on entry form. Checks must be issued by a US bank to be accepted. Foreign entries may be paid with U.S. Travelers Checks, U.S. International Money Orders, or by credit card.
Entries must never have screened or broadcast in Los Angeles. University or showcase showings allowed; local cable broadcast allowed.
DCW prefers to keep all preview DVD’s for our archives. Filmmaker is responsible for cost of sending screening media to DCW. DCW will return screening media after the festival.

DCW is given the right to use excerpts from your work in all DCW promotional materials.

Upon acceptance into the festival, your film cannot be withdrawn.
